Sports Locker

When my son Nathan was just a baby I quit my job as a carpenter and started Anything on a Clock. He is now 5 1/2 years old and he is starting to play hockey. To keep the basement looking like a basement and not a mess with hockey gear thrown around the room, I designed as NHL style hockey locker for him.

The locker 72 inches tall and 34 inches wide and is made out of 3/4 inch birch plywood. The inside dimension is 34 inches wide and about 20 inches deep. Most of the edges are finished with hemlock trim.

Our lockers are designed for hockey equipment but used for any sport equipment. If you need additional hooks or your hooks in a different location, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.

The lockers are assembled with all the holes filled and sanded but we do not put a finish on the lockers. Some people like the birch colour while some other people might want to stain it a darker colour or even paint it the colour of their favourite hockey team.

The top shelf is 11 inches high. Ideal for your hockey, lacrosse or baseball helmet.	Under the top shelf we have a 1 1/4 inch towel bar ideal for hockey socks and/or wet towels. We also have 2 hooks. One for your jersey and one for your shoulder pads.	Under the seat you have 2 shelves and 2 compartments designed to hold your skates.
